Site Work for Data Center and Industrial Projects
Earthwork, building pads, access roads, concrete, and paving, self performed by our own crews from a yard inside the build radius.
The civil scope a large site needs, from a contractor already working in the Panhandle
Bermea Construction has been moving dirt and laying pavement across the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico since 1991. The work a large industrial or mission critical site needs at the civil stage is the work our crews already self perform every week: mass excavation and grading, building and equipment pads, base placement and compaction, drainage shaping, construction access and haul roads, concrete flatwork and curb, asphalt paving, and striping.
Because all of it is self performed, the grades tie together, the sequence is one schedule, and there is one company answering for the result. No brokered scope, no gap between trades where a problem can hide.
We are based in Friona, Texas. That puts our equipment and crews within a short drive of the industrial construction now underway around Amarillo, Hereford, Plainview, Abernathy, Lubbock, Clovis, and Portales. For us, mobilizing to those sites is a drive, not a relocation, and our people go home at night rather than filling local housing.
What we take on at the civil stage
Any part of this can be bid on its own, or the whole package can be carried by one contractor from raw ground to finished surface.
Cut and fill, site grading to design elevation, and moving material on or off site.
Building and equipment pads, base material placed and compacted, then proof rolled.
Ditches, swales, and falls shaped so the finished site drains the way the plan says.
Construction access built early and maintained through the job, then paved permanently.
Flatwork, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and large volume pours with a uniform finish.
Parking, drives, and roads placed and compacted by our own paving crew.
Layout, striping, fire lanes, and accessible spaces to specification.
Structures, concrete, and existing asphalt removed, hauled off, and the ground turned back over clean.
