Asphalt Milling across the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico
Milling grinds the worn surface off an existing pavement and loads it straight into haul trucks, leaving a clean, textured profile for the new mat to bond to. It is how a street gets rebuilt without raising the grade, and it is the right first step anywhere curbs, gutters, valley pans, or door thresholds fix the finished elevation.
We run our own milling machine and haul fleet, so the grinding, loading, and hauling happen on one schedule with one crew responsible for all of it. The reclaimed material does not go to waste either. RAP is stockpiled and reused as base and surfacing on other projects, which keeps cost down and keeps material out of a landfill.
How an asphalt milling project runs
Existing grades shot and the cut depth set against curbs, gutters, and drainage.
The machine grinds the old surface to depth and belts it straight into haul trucks.
Millings hauled to stockpile, then the surface swept clean of loose material.
Cleaned profile tacked and the new asphalt mat placed on the same schedule.
